I'm pleased to announce that the Official Hotels of Walt Disney World (the Downtown Disney resort area) are the new corporate sponsor of our Theme Parks board. For those of you not familiar, these hotels are located on Disney property, just outside the entrance to Downtown Disney Marketplace (as a matter of fact, all of these hotels are walking distance to the Marketplace). We're thrilled to have all seven of these outstanding resorts on the DIS. All but two of the resorts can currently be reserved through our DreamsRES reservation system (CLICK HERE for DreamsRES (http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/dreamsres/index.cfm)). And, to welcome these new resorts, I'm pleased to announce that Dreams Unlimited is now extending it's very popular Priority Seating service to all reservations booked through DreamsRES!! For more info on our priority seating service, CLICK HERE (http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/dreamsres/psinfo.cfm)

Please join me in thanking the Downtown Disney Resort hotels for helping keep the DIS boards afloat! Please show your support by supporting our sponsors...they're the ones who allow these awesome forums to continue growing!!

That's great! Never been to Downtown Disney and wondered about the hotels there. Been to WDW 6 times and was just wondering if I would get bored of it after my next trip in May. I forget that there is so much more to Disney than the 4 theme parks!

Did you look at the list of hotels Pete linked?

Just wondering what you were wondering what you would get bored about? In other words, I'm confused.

Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott last fall and we loved it. Did not miss staying on site one iota. (And this is comming from someone who cries everytime she walks throught the gates at WDW! I'm a huge mouse freak!) This is awesome!! :D :D

Dear Sheryl, I too love Disney but the harsh reality is that some people, namely my husband think going to WDW 6 times is enough and do get bored. But a Hilton/Golf vacation with a promise not to drag him to a theme park might just work. I need him for the parks but not to shop.

jaccceee, I think one of the great things about Downtown Disney is that there are so many non-themed things to do. Lots of non-themed shopping. Cirque du Soleil. Pleasure Island.

I am going to visit Downtown Disney for the first time in April> I cant wait!! It sounds wonderful and am looking forward to staying there someday.

Is the Hilton going to be a part of DreamRes system? It is one of the Downtown Disney Hotels, and I noticed that it is not listed on the DreamRes page. We plan to stay there in March and I was wondering what kind of rates would be available through DreamRes.

I have no preference for the Hilton it was just the easiest one to spell.

It's nice that those hotels have become a corporate sponsor to one of the (if not the) most usefull information message boards about Disney.I have learned so much here in the short time I've been reading the messages; there's just too much info to be able to take it all in. It certainly is a testimony to the quality of this board and its participants that these hotels, collectively, have chosen to sponsor it. Thanks!
