Hello!
I am new to this site and have just tried to post a question - it hasn't appeared on the forum so I am trying again! Forgive me if I've done something wrong!
I think this site is amazing and can't believe how much knowledge and experience is on it! Ok my question is about PS. I am going to WDW for Christmas and haven't done anything about PS as until I found this site I was not aware that you could! (Last visited 15 yrs ago!) SO, am i too late now to do anything about PS? If not what do i do now?
Would be very grateful for any advice... Thanks!:D

Hello and welcome to the UK DIS boards!

Your'e never too late to make a PS until Disney say "sorry, there's nothing left". By that, I mean give them a call and see whether you can get any of the PSs you want - you may be lucky :)

If you can't get what you want now, you should call back until you leave for WDW as there may have been cancellations. Failing that, you can always try asking at the restaurant for a walk-in seating when you are there. I don't know how likely you are to get this at such a busy time of year, but it has to be worth a try if all else fails.

Good luck with your planning!

We have used PS on our last 2 visits to WDW. Everything was spot on. On our most recent holiday ( October this year ) we PS at 50's Prime Time Cafe,California Grill in Contemorary,Coral Reef, and Wol;fgang Puck's.On arrival at each retaurant I just gave my name and everything had been sorted.

Well I have managed to get PS for Rainforest Cafe, a character breakfast on MY birthday (40th) and a dinner package for the candle processional on Christmas day! So, although we left it too late to get the exact restaurants we wanted we still did OK! Unfortunately there was nothing for Fantasmic! during the whole of our stay - is it worth queing to get in?

Our plans are Ak, Mk, MGM, Sea World, Epcot, Universal etc etc - oh and we are going out to Kennedy Space center one day (any suggestions for a good day to visit?). Would also like to fit some shopping in! We hadn't intended to visit a water park - think Blizzzard Beach is open - should we go?!

I am now very very very excited and am off to try and work out how to do a Countdown Timer!!

Thank you all for your help!:sunny: :sunny: :cheer2:

Glad you managed to get some PS's in there. Which restaurant are you going to for the Candlelight Processional? We are doing this in December are really looking forward to it.

Which character breakfast have you booked?

As for Blizzard Beach, I would suggest you plan in a couple of hours there (assuming you have a ticket that lets you do this) to see if you like it. I love the WDW waterparks and a trip there would not be complete without a least a couple of visits. It depends on how old your children are (if you have any), whether you (or they) like swimming, water slides etc though. I realise you are going in December though so you may have to play it by ear and just go when you have a day that is warm enough - this is what we are planning to do when we go (In December, like you) :) :)

Hi Miffy!
We had a voucher for a character breakfast with our Disney tickets so had to choose one from that - we came up with Chef Mickey at Contemporary resort. As for Candlelight Processional we are eating at the mexican restaurant, which does not have very good reviews on here unfortunately. However we thought that we really ought to have somewhere booked for Christmas day so that we are not wandering the park aimlessly looking for somewhere to eat! Lets hope it will be ok! I am going to enjoy it whatever! How about you? Where are you eating?
Thanks for advice on BB - i'll have a think about it!
My children are 13 and 11 and love water parks - just not sure on how best to use our time!
Thanks again ....Speak soon!

Very Excited, my CP is at Le Cellier. While I am definitely not saying don't take any notice of reviews (as they are very useful) some people enjoy certain meals / experiences when others don't. I'm sure you will enjoy your Mexican :) and the atmosphere at San Angel is terrific :) You are absolutely right to make a PS for Christmas Day, I dread to think how long you'd wait for a table otherwise!

Philth, it cost me about $115 for 2 adults and 2 children.
