Priority Seating in January

Anyone have experience with dining in WDW in January (9-16). We usually eat our 1 sit down meal at lunch time (late lunch~1-3 ish). Do I really need to get priority seating?

We were there in January this year, the week following your listed week. We made some PSs, but I don't think we really needed them. In the places we didn't have PSs for lunch, we had maybe a 15 minute wait (I believe that was Le Cellier).

If there's somewhere you really want to eat at a specific time, I'd say make a PS anyway. But if you don't mind a short wait in exchange for time flexibility, you probably don't have much to worry about. :)

I just called and got PS for PSB for that week. Shouldn't be a problem to call in and get something you want. There are 12 of us and she offered me 3 choices!! Have fun!!

It you don't have a huge group or want a character meal, I wouldn't worry too much. I haven't even thought about my January trip yet (just returned last week). I will, however, make my PS before leaving. Probably a few weeks prior for my favorite places.
