Do annual passes entilte you to Early Entry?

Thinking about getting APs for our holidays in 2001 and 2002. Do these passes allow Early Entry to the Universal parks?

currently annual passes do allow early entry, but Universal is constantly changing the benefits. If you decide to get AP's, I'd get a letter or print out an email from customer service stating that you get early entry with APs just to be on the safe side. I have a season pass and am going the 1st week in Sept. I printed an email from customer service ---just in case.
