I would like to know of any winning 5* hotel bids on expedia. Thanks in advance, Davehaj. I just wanted to add that this was for the disneyworld area.

Expedia Hotel Price Matcher is no more, according to Travel Sheryl. I never read of anyone getting a 5* through them, anyway.

It is still there, Sheryl just indicated that Expedia plans to discontinue it.

I lurk on this board lots and only post when I know. I have not seen of anyone getting a 5 star on Expedia. Unless I just missed it! Anyone hear of a bid being accepted on this?

All of the bids I submitted for my trip this past October were rejected! I think I bid as high as $180/night (when rooms at the Swan/Dolphin were listed at $245 on Expedia/Travelscape). My posts searching for winning 5* bids never revealed any winners!

I am a frequemnt visitor of thia site and Sheryl's bidding forum, and I don't remember ever seeing a 5* Expedia winning bid. Some had offered as high as 150 and still can't get a room. The funny thing is you can get Swan/ Dolphin for much lower on Priceline if you are lucky.
