Hi! I was wondering if anyone on these boards knows where I can get (or if they even make) an odometer for my stroller?? I'm curious to find out exactly how much "walking around the world" we'll do on our trip in March. I've asked at Babies-R-Us and the man told me I would have to get a bike odometer and "modify" it. What the heck does that mean and how would one go about doing that?!?!?!? I find it hard to believe that I'm the first person in the world that wanted to find out how many miles I put on my stroller? TIA for any help!!:)

Why not just put a pedometer on yourself?

Thanks NotUrsula (which, by the way, is funny because my mom's name is Ursula and my oldest DD's name is Arielle!!!) ((it was not planned - I had not seen or heard about the Little Mermaid movie when we named her, hence, the different spelling, strange, huh???!! My mother was definitely not happy when she heard about it, and she couldn't be further from the character, lol!!!)) Anyway, I am considering that as an option but was hoping to find something I could just install on the stroller and forget about.

We have a jogging stroller that came with one, but I've never seen one sold. I think what I'd do is take the stroller to a bike shop (or better yet, call a bike shop and tell them what you want to do). The odometer will need to be calibrated for the wheel size of your stroller so that it can count the mileage accurately, I would think a bike shop would e able to help or at least tell you if it is possible. A pedomter may be easiest.

Good Luck!
