Does the Rose and Crown serve anything before the meal at lunch like bread, rolls, or whatever? I know it's a silly question but I would love to know;) Thanks!

No, I don't think so. We always order the fruit & cheese plate as an appetizer to share and it's pretty tasty.

They do serve rolls if one of the entrees ordered comes with them. Our server was great he brought rolls and butter for the whole table, they were warm and very fresh.

If my memory serves me right...there were a few rolls and I think sesame breadsticks (the hard type)...I want to add I think we were there for a late lunch around 3:30 so they might have been on their dinner set ups.

2A 2c we had 2 dinners, and split 1 kids meal, and had lots left over.

Hi Emme,

I was at the Rose and Crown for lunch last week. I ordered seasonal salad with Stilton and the Mushroom Medley for lunch and they did bring rolls. They were white rolls; moist and dense with a nice tender crust. They served them with a flavored butter that if I am not mistaken was mixed with a light sweet curry. They were very good and if they don’t bring them I am sure you could ask for them.

Enjoy!
