Jan Room Reservation ?

We are looking to stay the 14 - 16 of January (yes, I know holiday weekend) before we head to our DVC reservation. I checked online and could get HRH or PBH for the night of the 15th but nothing the night of the 14th. I called and could get a king suite at RPH for both nights for $309 - OMG.

So I checked expedia.com and could get both nights at all resorts - what's the deal?

If we book via expedia can we use entertainment rate later by calling direct?

They haven't released any discount rates (except AAA) yet for next year - they should be out any day now !!! :smooth:

I don't know what expedia's cancellation policy is - I know that if you book the room through Loew's you can change your reservation to the Ent rate if it is available.

We went to HRH last Jan on MLK weekend - had a wonderful time ! :smooth:

Are you saying that you called and no rooms are available for the 14th at either HRH or PBH? The hotel was far from sold out last year.

Yes - per the Loews online system and via the phone there were no rooms other than the King Suite at RPH for the night of the 14th. Expedia, Hotelkingdom.com and Entertainment.com website all show rooms.... but the discounts won't apply later and they all have a $25 cancel fee - yuck!
