:wave2: Got home last week and had a fantastic trip thanks to all the tips gleaned from these boards ::yes:: ::yes::
Transport:- Continental - good service. on time. One hour connection at Newark no problem ( thanks Helen). Meals good. No back of seat screens but we survived! ::yes::
Limo from airport which was brilliant and the highlight of the holiday for my 3 sons (southern elegance $160 return + tip.) Excellent service with grocery stop.
Chose hotel with free transport to US and IOA. ::yes:: Much better than expected. US 1/2 hour, WDW 3/4hour. Buses a bit old, but air conditioned + comfy. 3 departure times a.m. and about the same coming home. Did spectro + wishes with 11pm bus home no problem!! Never been in time for MK opening before - Mickey arrives on train - magical moment for wee ones (not mine!!) Disney bus connection to TL and MGM added another !/2 -3/4 hour
I-ride - variable - pretty busy even in Oct. - summer could be grim. used quite a lot.
A car would have been more convenient, but not cheaper, and for me this option was much better. I would have been anxious +++ and irritable+++ if I had to drive
Hotel :- Hawthorn suites, canada ave. ::yes:: Highly recommended. Rooms big, well equipped and good service. Hot breakfasts. free cocktails/wine /beer hours. We were back for this 5 evenings::yes:: ::yes::
HRH - we stayed here 1 night for 2 days FOTL access. Absolutely brilliant. I hate queuing and this perk was well worth the price ( approx £90 ENT rate) :Pinkbounc
Meals:- ended up having loads of pizza and burgers. Favourite - shark reef at SW -went twice because we loved it ( late lunches ) a bit pricey but lovely food and right next to shark tank.
Golden corral - an all you can eat. very clean, cheap and good food. :hyper:
Parks:- love them all. SW still my favourite.
Lows:- the Mercado on ID. - walked to this only to find it almost empty and loads of vacant lots.
Highs:- the whole holiday

Sorry this is so long, maybe should have posted in trip reports.:teeth:
Oops. last week was thinking three times is enough. writing this has reminded me how good it was!!
