Hi everyone...Its been a while. I have not really done WDW. Suffering burn out. I wasn't planning on going this week either but Mother Nature didn't cooperate with me. So here we go...on with the show....
My original plan was to go to Wet N Wild until 10 pm and then maybe see a movie. Well woke up Sat and it was overcast but the sun was peeking through so we figured we would be ok. Well I was preparing my lunch when I saw a flash. I thought nothing of it. A second or 2 later I looked over to my cat who was looking out the sliding glass door, when I heard a loud CRASH!!! My cat jumped about 5feet off the ground. It was thunder. A minute later it was pouring. So we decided to bring the suits and go to Blizzard Beach instead as that we would only be out the cost of the locker. We arrived in Orlando and it was still raining. Blizzard Beach was PACKED. I was thinkinghttp://www.plauder-smilies.de/thinkerg.gif this may not have been a good idea. I was right. First we went to the lazy riverhttp://www.plauder-smilies.de/sleep.gif and there were tons of people with the same idea. We grabbed a tube and floated away. The first thing we noticed was there was a bit of roughhousing going on. People were all over doing things they should not have. This was the life guards reaction...http://www.plauder-smilies.de/faga1.gif..LOL..Well it gets worse..we get past the cave and the group is still rowdy. Well the last straw was when one of the darling little angelshttp://www.plauder-smilies.de/angel3.gif..NOT...threw a tube. It hit me in the back of the headhttp://www.plauder-smilies.de/crying.gif. Once again the lifeguard did nothing. So we left that and climbed the mountains step by step as the ski lift was closed. We hit the family ride and are put in a tube with another couple. As we are sliding down, we happen upon another raft with the riders outside the tube...http://www.plauder-smilies.de/sad/conf.gif. Turns out they jumped out of the tube and were standing up on the slide and jumping back into it. http://www.plauder-smilies.de/sad/smhair1.gifhttp://www.plauder-smilies.de/eek.gifhttp://www.plauder-smilies.de/sad/shakehead.gif. I spoke to the lifeguard and all she did was just say...That is dangerous. Well DUH!!!!!! I was livid. They got away with it. They almost tipped my raft with their antics and the lifguard did nothing.http://www.plauder-smilies.de/sad/soupson.gifhttp://www.plauder-smilies.de/sad/nixweiss.gif So we decided to go to the wave pool then call it a day. Well in there we saw more of this...http://www.plauder-smilies.de/faga1.gif. So we packed and left. Went to Pointe Orlando and saw Scary Movie 2. The went and saw Jurrassic Park 3 on the IMAX screenhttp://www.plauder-smilies.de/happy/bigok.gif Loved IT...All in all a ok day... Next week is definatly Wet N Wild no matter what!!!
