Housekeeping and Room Choice - Studio at BWV

I am (hopefully!) going to be staying in a studio at the Boardwalk Villas for my next trip. I've learned from this board that at OKW, you do not get housekeeping services every day. Can anyone confirm if this same policy is in effect at the Boardwalk? I am not a DVC member, but will be renting points --> so if it makes a difference, I think my reservation will be marked as a DVC vs. cash.

Also, if anyone has suggestions on room location for a standard-view studio, they would be greatly appreciated!

If you are renting through a DVC member, there will be limited maid service (that applies to all DVC resorts). You will get a partial cleaning (trash and towell replacement) on the 4th day there (if staying 8 nights or more you get a full cleaning on the 4th day). You can purchase full daily maid service at the resort for any one or more days you are there; just ask when you check in; it is currently $25 a day for a studio. As for standard view studio, best bet is to ask for higher floor (4 or 5) and away from the elevators) that gets you in an area from which you can see Illuminations fireworks at night.
