Ok we all plan for months and some of us years;) to create and look forward to the best holiday ever.......but what exactly do you look forward to?
I love it when we get off the palne and you walk out into the Florida air and you just breath heat, and all you can hear are the chiriping from Jiminy Cricket hiding in the bushes!!:)
It's the best feeling IMO!
What about you?

I always feel that my holiday has started when we arrive at Gatwick the night before, do twilight check-in and stop at the Hilton. But like you Gem, the feel of the heat as you step off the plane is a great feeling.

For me it is getting off the plane and feeling that Floridian heat envelope you. The other best bit is when we drive under the purple WDW sign - yippee!!!!

Got to be the Heat/Smell when you step off the plane, and then bombarded with security check in's and then you collect your car and breathe in the fresh air, amazing.
Getting to the hotel, and having a decent burger! :P then waking up at the crack of dawn with so much excitement!! woot!! no other feelings like it!

We stay at the Beach Club Villas and I look forward to the first time we walk out of the Beach Club lobby and go for a walk around the lake over to the Board Walk and then to Beaches and Cream for an icecream and to get our mugs.
I just get a great feeling when I'm in Walt Disney World, or even Disneyland Paris for that matter. I just look forward to the whole experience - sorry if that sounds really lame and indecisive!! :o
I love lying in bed on the first night, knowing that I'm so close to those wonderful parks and that tomorrow I going exploring! :D

....walking into Epcot, under the ball, and into Innoventions Plaza, hearing that slightly odd music, with eth odd 'chirk' from the Grakels ( the cheeky, black birds you see everywhere)

Walking down Main Street. The atmosphere, the gasps from the people who are seeing it for the first time and just knowing that whatever the day brings I am going to have a fantastic time.

Sitting on the balcony in the morning, it's early but already nice & warm. Watching the world go by with a cup of coffee and knowing there's a whole "world" out there too explore.
...... next week this time I'll be there!!!!

Have to agree with people about the heat. I couldn't wait to see my DH and DDs faces when we got off the plane the first time as a family.
And the "florida smell". It's one of our family faves::yes::

I look forward to everything.........just being there for one, driving under the Walt Disney World sign, stepping out of the airport, the smell of 'Florida' (which I think is the a/c...LOL) and going home...........knowing that the first thing I do is to decide when we're going back again, so I can start the whole cycle again!!!!!

Last time, we arrived at our timeshare, stepped out on to the balcony and saw fireworks going off from one of the parks at WDW. Our timeshare is on the 192 so this was athrill for us. I just hope that it happens again this time. If not, driving under that WDW arch on to property for the first time...that is excitement on a grand scale.

Getting off the plane, driving towards Disney as soon as I see those searchlights at Pleasure Island and also driving up to check in and hearing 'Welcome Home' from the security on the gate....

for me it's driving under the Walt Disney World sign and getting my first sight of Pop Century - I always shed a few tears there, and also the first sight of the Castle from Main Street USA, I always get very emotional. These are things I look forward to the most - and my first meal at Chilis :p

..sorry, but my stomach rules my mind. The thought of finally getting to the hotel, dumping the bags, quick change then out to Charleys Steakhouse for a big steak and a ice cold Bud.
Simple pleasures I know.
Also standing in line for the Hulk Rollercoaster, getting all the fears out of the way, remembering just how much I really enjoy a good coaster and going straight back on again.
I just can't wait!!
