Downpayment on resale

How much of a downpayment have any of you put on a resale?
Is 10% sufficient?:confused:

We paid 20% down on our resale purchases thru The Timeshare Store.

I assume that % is standard, but there possibly could be other options if pursued.

My wife and I recently paid 20% on 150 Boardwalk points through A Timeshare Broker

[Disney Adventurer]

I was told 10% would be OK but try to make it a minimum of $2,000 if 10% is less than $2,000.
