I'm just curious if it really is right outsde of the parks, that's the way it looks from a couple of maps I looked at, if we wanted to go to NBA for dinner or lunch, is it close enough so as not to waste alot of time ? also, is it okay to park the rental car in the Universal Studios parking lot until a couple hours past closing if we were at CityWalk?? Thanks for any help !!! :teeth:

YES. It is THAT CLOSE!!! It's one of the things I love about Universal. So easy to walk everywhere.
We ate at NBA in March for dinner. Great atmo. Good food. Rotten service (but most others have had very positive experiences).
Can't help with the rental car question, sorry!

Hi PooohBear,
The Universal parking lot is actually 2 parking garages adjacent to each other. These 2 parking garages are used by offsite guests visiting Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and/or Citywalk. Infact, a visitor has to pass through Citywalk to get to either themepark from the parking garages.

Many people go to Universal JUST for CityWalk in the evening. CityWalk closes at 2AM, I believe, and uses the same parking garages, so parking should not be an issue. :)

speaking of the City walk...
Is the Jimmy Buffett margaritaville restaurant kid-friendly or should we opt for a different locale?
Thanks,
Michelle

Margaritaville is very kid friendly. It's my kiddos favorite place to eat at Universal. Everytime we have eaten there, people on stilts have been walking around making balloon hats for kids (or anyone who wanted one). Take the kids and have fun!

I agree. My kids are 5, 7, and 8. We have eaten at many of the citywalk resturants and Margaritaville is thier favorite.
