Just wanted to let you all know that I got my invite. It was from "Bowling, Matt J", so be on the lookout.
Thanks. I came here to find out just that. I haven't gotten one yet. Let's hope it comes soon. I need to plan out my day next Saturday...and need the show place and time. --HM

Forgot to mention:
If anyone lives in the Atlanta area, I can add one person to my party -- unless they decide that an 18-month-old counts. He still gets in free at the movie theatres here, so I'm assuming he wouldn't count for the screening.
Anyway, PM me if you're interested in this possible extra seat.
Also, it would be fun to meet other DISers if any are going to the same screening. Shall we plan on wearing lime green? Or mouse ears, which would be more visible in the darkened theatre?

Got ours for Atlanta! It'll be our first screening! The email says to bring ID; they do not 'guarantee' that we will get in and that they're not responsible for over-booking

I think the ID is to help them match up the names of people who legitimately requested tickets with the individuals appearing at the theaters. Remember, we had to include our names and addresses in our original e-mailed ticket request. So I'm sure the theaters have lists of certified ticket holders and will bar any gate crashers who may come waving photocopies or e-mail printouts forwarded from friends.
I'm guessing that the theaters are booked solid, but would hope they are not overbooked. I know that they removed cities from the list as they booked up, so I'm hoping they only allowed for a small number of no-shows (if any at all). We have to drive 3 hours and cross a time zone to get to our theater, which means leaving at 6 am Central to arrive on time at 10 Eastern. Don't think we will be getting there an hour early, as another poster advised! (And yes, DH DOES want to kill me!)
Let's hope it's as great as all the other Pixar films have been!

We got ours for Seattle!
Funhouse8:
I have been to four Disney screenings in Seattle and we have never had to show ID. They have never been full either so I don't know if that would make a difference. If It were me I think I would give the theatre a call and ask so there are no surprises! Good Luck!

Yeah! I will be visiting my daughter in Washington DC this coming weekend, and I just received an invite to the screening there. I was hoping it would work out this way!

Has anyone in the Detroit area received the e-mail with the vouchers for the Incredibles screening? I haven't received it yet, and I am concerned that our Spam-blocker software may not let the e-mail through. I have been checking our e-mail everyday.:worried:
I hope we receive the vouchers!

It make me feel better knowing that you are still waiting too. They better send the e-mail soon since the screening is this Saturday! Do you have any idea what theater it will be shown at?
Thanks,

bassoongirl-
I went to a free screening for Brother Bear with the Disney Club and it was at Star Southfield..
I am really wondering if they are going to have it in Detroit, since no one else has repsonded that they have gotten thiers.. And if they are having it you would have thought that someone would have heard by now.

Has anyone gotten their invitation for St. Louis? I sent in my email much sooner than I did for Princess Diaries 2 so I feel like I probably qualified. I'm just concerned that my email provider picked it up as spam. If anyone has received one when did you get it?

For those who have Atlanta invites;

Also, what was the subject line for your email ?

I never got mine for NYC. Was it a sure thing, I forget. I know I sent mine in while NYC was still an option.......... was it still just a chance drawing of names after that? (I guess so , If I did not get one)

hi all-
I posted this on the CB but no responses, I probably should have posted here instead ;)

We were planning on heading to the free pre screening on saturday morning at the fenway theater at 10am, but this was just announced:
Saturday's victory parade for the Boston Red Sox is scheduled to start at 10 a.m at Fenway Park and will end at City Hall plaza, according to WBZ radio.
I got to thinking that most roads will be blocked in the fenway area and it will be crazy there, maybe we'll skip it since we were bringing little ones to the show. :( Anyone still going or are you just gonna skip it? I'm not in the mood for those crowds.

I didn't get the tickets for tomorrow's screening, but I just got an e-mail from our local paper that I won a drawing they had for free tickets on Weds. That will work better for us anyway with all the Halloween festivities. Hopefully the kids will be over their sugar high by Wednesday. My only dilemma is that we have two kids and my e-mail says "you and guest." Our kids are little enough to sit on our laps, do you think if all 4 of us will be let in even though the ticket implies that only two get in, but it doesn't say that outright?
