resale question--how soon will I need the cash?

I see a resale I might be interested in. My question is how soon would I need to have the cash if I make an offer? If I remember correctly, I can't put it on my cc for a resale, right? :bounce:

We got a 50 point addon from The Timeshare Store. We got a cash advance from our credit card (it was very low interest) and used that for closing. No, you probably won't be able to use a credit card. We hadn't received the money to our checking account by the date we needed to send the check, so we called the closing company and they said just as long as they got it in a few days or so. You pretty much need it by the date that you are scheduled to close.

You will need to put down a deposit as well before closing can begin. Neither the deposit or remainder can be paid with a credit card (at least thru The Timeshare Store.)
