FYI - I was at the Bistro this weekend and they now offer a 5 course tasting menu for $60 ( $95 with wine pairings at every course). It was very good and very filling.
do tell! What was included?

You have 2 choices to choose from in the first four courses and there is a dessert sampler.
I had:
Foie Gras with artichokes and red cabbage
Tuna with Jamaican Pepper
Grouper cooked in skin with mashed potatos
Grilled tenderloin of beef with gnocchi
(The standard choice for the third course is Lobster Tail or Scallops, but I'm allergic to shellfish so they allowed me to substitute any other entree off the regular menu) All selections were from their regular menu. I don't remember all the other alternate choices.
The dessert sampler was great. There was a small chocolate cake with a liquid center, a lavender creme brulee, apricot tartlet just to name a few.
The wines are all selected to complement each choice.

Thank you for the review! We will be dining at Bistro de Paris for the first time and I love the idea of a tasting menu to try several items. :)
Can you remember the other items offer that you did not choose? I wonder if they change the choices depending on what is currently in season? We are going in Nov.
Thanks
