Staying at Vistana Resorts. What is the traffic like from the resort to WDW? What about when you leave WDW? Any tips

The way Disney manipulates traffic, I have never really been in a traffic jam. I guess closer to park openings and closings it might be heavier.

If I remember, Vistana resorts is to the east of Disney, thus avoiding the nightmare of 192 traffic off-site. I think you should be A-OK.

we just got back, stayed at Holiday inn Maingate East on 192..traffic was NO problem whatsoever. We left the park (MK) at 9:00 and watched the fireworks from the ferry as we rode to the transportation area. This works if you don't feel the need to be up at the castle for fireworks. Just be sure to sit/stand at the back of the ferry!
Also, this way you beat 90% of the crowd leaving the park after fireworks. Worked for us!!! L

The traffic from where you are should be fairly easy. It is always busy, but, very managable.
Nice resort, btw.
