View Full Version : AKL trip! Yeah, it was awsome! Day 6

MGM! headed immediatly for Prime time Cafe for brunch, our "cousin Jen" was fine, but not funny, or outlandish, we saw some families get fed, and one family had to sing a song, lots of funny stuff going on around us! Food was ok, to expensive for the quailty but we did get one of those electric drinks! great fun!

We rode Star Tours, and Backlot tours, played in the HISTK's playground! DS and DH loved this! we then waited in a huge line for Buzz and Woody's stamp and Jessie's autograph! DS loved this as Buzz is his favorite character at the moment!

Headed back to the resort to pack up and swim and relax! Finally tried the Victoria Falls Mist! YUMMY! wish I had tried this earlier on in the week!


Great trip! Hate to be home, planning the spring 2005 trip as we speak!!

Thanks for the great report. Sounds like DS had a great birthday. We will be there for DS first birthday in January so blow some pixie dust my way,

Dawn...I just read all your posts! Thanks for the reports! Sounds like a blast! I am a little bummed you did not like Boma, but we are very adventurous eaters that LOVE ethnic food so I am hoping we will love it as we have a breakfast PS AND a dinner PS! So that app at Alfredos was not as great as you remember it? Bummer. How bout the waiters? ;)

So you had a pool view and you could also see animals? what floor were you on?

Really enjoyed reading your trip reports. I can't think of a better place to spend a Birthday than WDW. ;)

daisy-I have not had it, but it is the specialty drink of Victoria falls (the lounge at AKL) and I believe it has coconut rum and midori in it, among other things.... sounds yummy!
