Anniversary thoughts? Help w/ CG & Wishes?

My PS window opens up in a couple weeks for our tenth wedding anniversary trip. We'll be without the kids and we'll be staying at VWL.

Any comments on this? I was trying to plan several things we've never done before.

Sunday - arrive early evening
Garden Grill dinner for rehitching
IllumiNations
Jellyrolls at BW

Monday -
Keys tour at MK
California Grill dinner for viewing of Wishes or dinner at the castle (This is where hubby proposed to me at.)

Tuesday -
GF tea
late castle dinner or California Grill dinner for viewing of Wishes

Wednesday -
Kona Cafe for breakfast at Poly then leave to go home


Any tips about guessing at the perfect PS time for dinner at the California Grill for viewing Wishes when the schedule isn't even out???
Any other tips for our anniversary?

I have no idea what the fireworks shedule is

however, we just went to the california grill for our anniversary in june. I made the PS for about an hour before the fireworks (so I guess that was like 8:00)

I made sure I told them it was our anniversary when I booked it and then made sure it was noted when I called back later to confirm

I told my wife not to expect a window seat because people camp at them and we were not showing up till 8

we walked it, it said anniversary on the PS sheet, we were quickly ushered to a seat right in front of the window that was free and waiting for us

point is, stress as many times as you can that its your anniversary (we also got free cake)

Stiff, did you make your PS 90 days out or afterwards?

I just don't have a clue what time to make it for (This will be in early February.) since the calender is not out yet and who knows what time Wishes will be.

Another snag might be deciding on which night to make this PS for. Who knows if Wishes will still be running every night then. Think I'd be safer picking a Monday or Tuesday?

I believe that there is either a page on Disney's site, or somewhere on the wdwinfo.com site that shows the operating schedules from last year. I used this to kind of get an estimate for timing the fireworks with dinner at CG.

As for getting one of the window seats, you might want to ask for a window seat nearer to the back of the restaurant. This is where we sat last visit, and we could see both Wishes and Illuminations. Kind of a 2 for 1 fireworks dinner.

yes I made my reservation 90 days out...I think I used the wishes times from the year before when I did it
