guides for gulf coast area

can anyone suggest any good guide books this area?Have booked to stay in Bradenton next year & would like to find good books for attractions/ best beaches around the area and/or up to St Petes.

I've never found any specific guide books over here for the gulf coast, although they do get a mention in most of the Florida guide books.

Check out some sites on the internet though - just put in Bradenton or St Petes (or wherever you're staying), most of the areas have many sites each and are full of useful information - from accommodation to restaurants, to shopping and theatres, beaches to parks etc.
