How is that WDW doesn't offer 2 or 3 day park-hoppers, but they're available "at a discount" through third-parties?

I think that the question would more accurately be worded this way "Why does WDW not sell 2-3 day hoppers to the general public?" WDW DOES sell these "specialty" hoppers to conventions and other groups AND to third party sellers. The third party sellers are allowed to sell them, but are not supposed to advertise that fact. That is why you do not see these shown on most ticket vendor's websites, but are only available when you inquire about them or when you subscribe to a newsletter.
I hope that I have made this somewhat clearer... :)

Thanks, BethR. Totally agree. WDW has some of the strangest policies on pricing. Not just admission prices, but hotels/resorts as well.

My girlfriends & I are going for a long weekend to the WIne & Food Fest & only want to go to the parks 2 days, but want to be able to hop - how do I find the 2 day hopper pass?

One site that has two-day & three-day Park-Hoppers: DiscountOrlandoVacation.com
I know www.ticketmomma.com has the 2 and 3 day hoppers also.
They're also known as Billy Boy's Tickets.
But you gotta call them since they don't list the shorter hoppers on any of their websites.

407 932-2080 Central Florida Tickets and Travel but you have to call and ask if they are available. Sometimes are/sometimes aren't...
