What are you doing this half-term ?

Yippee the kids are breaking up this week (hasn't this first half term flown by ?) and we're now looking forward to a week off. Are you doing anything nice for half term ? I see by the holiday chart that a few people are lucky enough to be off to WDW (have a brilliant time guys !!), but what about us that are staying at home ? We're off to Manchester to do some shopping at the Trafford Centre and stopping the night in a Travel Inn, but thats about it.

So what are you doing ?

I'm off to the DIS Devon meet next weekend! ;) :Pinkbounc

I think that's probably about it for my half term excitement, but I don't have any little ones still needing me to entertain them when they're not in school. Eldest DD will be in uni (no half term for her) and youngest DD will probably be shopping and surfing (waves, not net!) given half a chance!

My husband and I are both teachers, although I have another week before half term. We are going to Alton Towers for 3 days, we are booked into Splash Landings (the water park hotel) for 2 nights. I can't wait as I love the rides at AT and we are going to see the end of season firework and laser display.

DH has the week off (I haven't) but it will be lovely to have him around in the evenings as he's usually at work. I expect we will just enjoy some time together, and I know he is planning some trips with the girls.

Of course we have the Dis Meet on the first weekend which we are all really looking forward to :)

DIS meet for the first weekend, followed by a mini DIS meet with Verity and them we have some family coming to stay :)

We are off to sunny North Devon, but don't think we will have time to nip down to the meet though.

We are having a nice relaxing week in Combe Martin - lots of nice walks, pub meals, fish and chips and of course - indian takeways :)
