My FIL just bought a golf cart and wants to tow it in an utility trailer behind a 32' RV. He is now trying to figuge out what size trailer, either 10' or 12'. Does anyone here tow one of these and if so how do they tow? He would like to get the bigger one but is scared that it is too big. Any advise would be great! TIA!

its only 2 feet, get the bigger trailer, longer trailers are easier to back up.:D

We bought a 10' steel utility trailer for our Club Car Villager 4.
Our cart is 101" long, like the ones at Disney. A standard cart will fit on an 8' trailer, but not if has had a rear seat installed with a foot board.
You most likely won't be backing much, at least not with the motorhome. Unload, unhook, and move by hand is way easier.
These steel trailers are heavy, so I would go for the shorter one.
Make sure its 4.5' or 5' wide. Carts are all 47" wide or so and that's a tight fit in a 4' wide trailer.
Cool alum trailer just out for carts, but not avail to the public yet ...

That trailfeather trailer is cool and did anyone notice the Mickey shirt on the girl pictured hitching the trailer and loading the cart on the trailer. Personally I would still rather have a 10' or 12' steel utility trailer that can haul other camping equipment and be used for other things as well.

Thank you all for the responses.
John,
Do you keep your trailer at your site or park it up in the main parking lot? We just want to be prepared and know where everything is going to go.
thanks

You may keep your trailer at your site, but it must fit on your site either on the driveway or sand pad.
Personally, I would just park it on the main lot to get it out of the way. With camper, tow vehicle, picnic table and golf cart, I wouldn't want to crowd up the site with a trailer also.
Last time we tent camped we had a small utility trailer and we had shoved it off to one side and received a note on my windshield to move the trailer onto the site or out to the main parking lot. I moved it onto the site for one night, but soon realized it made everything much more crowded, so I moved it to the main lot the next morning. I just locked it, and taped a WDW parking permit to it.

We just store the trailer in the overflow lot, and lock it up. Never have had any problems. If you ask them when you check in about your trailer, they will give you a little tag to tie wrap onto it when it's parked in the overflow lot. But I bet we were the only ones with it on.
