We will be arriving on the 27th of December and staying till the week after New Year. Is the campground really crowded at this time? How are the sites decorated for New Year's..I guess x-mas decorations stay up?

The campground is pretty full during the week of x-mas to new years. Sites empty out regularly, but are usually filled again by the end of the day. As for decorations, the majority of people just leave their x-mas dec's up through the new year ..... no need to pack two sets of decorations!

Is it okay to put lights up if you're staying in a cabin?

I just moved our ressies up from the 27th of Dec. to the 23rd!! 4 more days added on..yahoooooooo!! I am still trying to get AP rates. No luck so far. Has anyone had any luck with AP rates for the campsites around x-mas time? Decided to switch from preferred to a full hookup site in the pet loop to help justify the extra days to my husband I told him we could save money by taking the doggies with us and not paying to board them. We have 10 people going with us. My mom, sister, nieces and course my dh, and children. May be we'll see some of you there!:bounce:
