Hello all,

is there much of a difference between the Rainforest Cafe at AK and at DD?

If there is would you recommend one over the other?

We have eaten at both, as well as RC locally, and they are all the same as far as menu, decor, ect. We usually enjoy the food, and our kids love the surroundings, but the service at all of them has been hit or miss. I say eat at whichever location is more convenient to you. Lacee

Depends on when you are going to eat.

If its lunch time either AK or DD are fine. If your going for dinner DD is packed.

Remember AK RF serves breakfast and its VERY VERY GOOD.

They are pretty much the same, but the biggest difference is definitely the crowd! Depending on when you go, the wait at the one in DTD can be up to two hours. The only time the one in AK is crowded is right when the park closes.

Food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun at both!

We plan on eating there for a late lunch on our AK day (Wednesday, Dec 8th). I was going to call for PS but we haven't settled on a time yet....do you think PS are unnecessary?

Well, it's probably better to be safe and get a PS, but you probably won't have to worry about it being very crowded!

We have only eaten at the AK RFC.
You may want to consider joining the Safari Club.
The initial cost is $15.00, but they send you a $10.00 coupon good for your first visit. You also get 10% off your bill and anything you purchase in the gift shop when you present your card.
Also, when you present your card you get the next available table even without PS.
