Need trip planning help for OCT 29-31

HI all

We are coming over for MNSSHP on the 29th and we'll be staying at POP Century for Fri. and Sat. night. Haven't been there yet :)

I need help planning for Saturday (night) and early Sun.
My youngest wants to go to the petting zoo again so I thought we'd spend some afternoon evening time at the Fort Wilderness area on Saturday. I'd like to get an idea of what we can do there and what times. I know there is a compfire thing, a movie, Haunted Hayride and other things I just don't know details.

I'd appreciate any and all ideas or help.

I think the campfire singalong starts at 7:00 and the movie will start about 40 min's later. The movie schedule is the first item on the camping forum. Call the Fort's direct number (should be on your ressie confirmation) to get the details on the haunted hayride. I think I heard about that last year but didn't do it 'cause it would scare my kids. IF magic kingdom has fireworks on their schedule (check the disney web site for that) for Saturday night, then you could go down to the marina area and watch fireworks. This interferes w/ the campfire movie time though. Sunday a.m. take a bike ride and see the wildlife around the settlement and pioneers hall.

Crockett's Tavern serves things like hotwings, and pizza at a reasonable price! Thats located next to the Trail's End Restraunt.

I too think the campfire starts around 7pm. Usually they have this gawd awful woman singer but the kids like it. I can't believe they have had this ONE employee there so long with all the available talent in Orlando!!! (Seasoned campers will know exactly whom I'm refering to.) she can't play the guitar or sing. LOL!
They start off with cartoons, then the feature film.
BE sure to bring mosquito spray. I live in FLorida and due to the hurricanes the mosquito population is starting to boom.

If you are referring to the CM I think you may be; may dd absolutely loved her!!! She asked about that CM everytime we went/go and was always disappointed not to see her. She is a very friendly lady!
