Anyone know of a good place or website that would have water shoes (what do you call them?)? I'm thinking of going to the water parks for our December trip. Will we even need them?

If you have access to a car when you get down there go to walmart, kmart or target. I know walmart had them. You really don't need them at the water park. Some places do get hot (like the sand) but you can avoid the sand by staking a place closer to the walkway or water.

Hi
I bought some at walmart for around $3 when they were clearing out all their summer stuff last month. Might check there if they still have any left. I also bought some on fogdog.com for around $10

We have been to the water parks in October and August and have never used water shoes.
Everyone is different in what they "need" but we did not feel as if we needed them.

OK maybe I should ask...
Why WOULD someone need them?
Sensitive feet? Ground to hot?
I would prefer to not bother with them if I dont need them.

When we go to water parks, we just wear our flip flops or sandals so we can take them on and off quickly. With water shoes, the water tends to puddle in the shoes which is so uncomfortable and it gets your feet real pruney. If you really want to wear a shoe, I would recommend teva-like sandals so the water won't collect. Enjoy!

Thanks for the replies. frstimer128 we just happen to own Teva Sandles so I guess the problem is solved!
