The last time we went to Disney (2001) we had a stroller and had a place to carry & hang all our bags. Now we are wondering the policy ( security and all) of carrying in a backpack with food, water, etc. Is it allowed?? Does it have to be a clear / mesh see thru bag ?

Do all the parks have lockers when you enter to perhaps store a small insulated lunch bag? I just do not know the rules anymore.

We even thought about buying a cheap unbrella stroller to push around the park but we want to travel without one since our youngest will be 8 by then.

We want to save money by bringing in snacks & water but do not want to be weighed down as I will be the one stuck lugging the
bag. Thanks.

We went stroller free last year and I just carried a mini packback with me (child size thing) and shoved a few snacks in there and a couple drinks. Security didn't bat an eye. I think the problem with the lockers is that you have to make your way back to the entrance to get your snacks when you are hungry. Too time consuming IMO.

We always bring a backpack with water. Usually buy snacks like ice cream, but occasionally pack fruit as well.
