View Full Version : Wilderness Lodge.....Help !
Staying at the WL for 3 nights during our trip.
I am going to fax a room request to the hotel but would like some recommendations for which floor/location/room to request !
We have booked a Courtyard View room and would ideally prefer a higher level room with a view of the Silver Creek Springs pool area and Bay Lake !

its a fantastic place to stay with lovely views:) The room we had for our honeymoon was great, we looked out over the pool and lagoon. I'll try and find out the number:)

we stayed at the WL in Dec of 2002, and I loved it! We had a courtyard view overlooking the pool, we were on the 4th floor not too far from the elevator.
But...according to Deb Wills site, the WL will no longer accept faxed in requests. Here is a link to the page. http://allearsnet.com/acc/cro1.htm
We just got back yesterday - stayed on the 5th floor woods view - had a view of the Contemporary and the fireworks from MK during the evening made it really special - sitting on the balcony sipping wine and watching the display. Enjoy!

Room 5722 (as per the lady on the desk, one of the best views in the lodge)

I've recently read somewhere (can't remember where!) that Disney (Wilderness Lodge particularly) have received so many fax requests that they are no longer going to honour these type of requests unless they are to do with disability.
I'm not sure how true this is but there is always a special request part on the booking form so it can't hurt to make the request on that (or add it to your telephone booking) just in case.

I had also read (on Mouseplanet) that faxes were no longer being accepted.
Heres a link to the article

Thanks guys
I will fax my request direct to the DRC to add to my reservation - it may not work - but no harm in trying !!!
