I got my AP holder newsletter. It has the dates for several upcoming DL events:

November 5--DL transforms into the Merriest Place on Earth (meaning X-mas decos are up and holiday fireworks start)

November 19--A Christmas Fantasy Parade begins

December 4 & 5--Candelight Processional

January 2--Last day for holiday fun at DLR

January 10--Celebrate Mickey: 75 InspEARations on dispaly through Feb 22.

Wow!! I really want to see the statues but was going to wait until after May to go again....Who knows a quick weekend trip in Feb. may be in the future for my family!!!

Can you tell me more about the Mickey statues?

The statues were designed by different celebrities. Go to disney.go.com/inside/mickey75.

I saw another one--Nov 22 the castle will be uncovered! It says "See the beginning of Sleeping Beauty Castle's magical transformation today."

I haven't gotten my AP newsletter yet, typically I dont' get them. Anyhow, I'm very excited to hear that Nov 5th is the day they have the xmas decorations up. I have never been to DL during Xmas, and have made a one day side trip Nov 7th on my way to work and didn't expect the parks to be decorated yet, but this will be a great bene!! Thanks for the info!
