We have found out since our last trip to Universal that my daughter is lactose intolerant. She is also a vegetarian, so that puts some real limits on restaurant meals. Last time we were there we stayed at PBH, which of course is pretty heavy on the cheese. Also, the kids normally had pizza or mac 'n cheese. We'll be staying at RPR this time and I'm wondering at that hotel and in the parks and CityWalk if anyone has suggestions for vegetarian food without dairy. My parents will have a suite with a fridge and microwave, so we can make some food, but I know we'll want to eat out too! Thanks.

I'm interested in the answer to this as well, as my brother has the same dietary restrictions. I know that some places offer veggie burgers, but I know he'd love to eat something else on occasion over a three day trip!

There's a book out there called "Vegetarian's Guide to WDW and Universal" or something of that sort. I will have to find it on my bookshelf and look through it.

I found the book and it is called "Vegetarian Walt Disney World and Greater Orlando (including Universal Orlando)" by Susan Shumaker and Than Saffel. You can see the vegetarian and lactose-free and ovo-free food at the parks.
The book was published in 2000, so a few things have changed.

One more thing: I searched Amazon.com and found a 2nd edition published in 2003.
