NO Rental Cars this Weekend?!

I have tried and tried...no Priceline, and all the major agencies show no availability from Fri. 7 p.m. to Sun. 7 p.m. We need one that's open till at least 7 and with a shuttle from the airport. I have even called several of the "scary" offsite companies, and they either have nothing or want $95 per day!! I have never, ever run into this before! If worse comes to worse, I will book Happy Limo, but we really need to make a run somewhere off Disney property this weekend so that's a last resort. Any suggestions appreciated.

Never mind...gave up and booked Happy Limo! We'll just stay put this time around and put off our diving jaunt until the next trip.

Could possibly be the combination of Columbus Day weekend and the big golf tournament at WDW?

If you really wanted to have a car for a trip offsite, you might be able to get on at the car care center or the dolphin. With Limo and car, it might not be cost effective though. You may want to try one way rental and at least limo fee from WDW to MCO

I had sticker shock for our trip between Xmas and NY!

For that price I decided to surprise DD with a STRETCH limo from Happy Limo! I figured we we be spending the night at GF so might as well arrive in style!

My husband finally realized that it was Columbus day. What a shock! Thank goodness Happy Limo was able to fit us in. We're used to paying $13 to $18 per day via Priceline for our weekend rentals...NO WAY I was paying $95 per day!

Glad I reserved back in May! I checked national and have
been getting no cars available too.
