Does anyone know if I go to Disney and my child turns 3 yrs old while we are there, what ticket price I would pay? He would turn 3 about half way through.

Thanks

I have read ( I think here somewhere) that if a child turns 3 during the trip they are free for the entire trip. This was the offical answer given to someone who asked guest services about it.

I wouldn't worry about it, but if you are concerned ask yourself just to be sure.

Have a good trip ( and birthday for your 3 year old, what a great place to be on your birthday!)

DisneyPhD is right. The price of the little is based on their age on the arrival date only. We went a couple of days before DD celebrated her 3rd birthday and stayed for 6 nights, so it was all free for her (except for food and souvenirs, of course ;) )

Hope that helps!

This is the answer I got from Disney when I emailed the same question. " You may purchase your tickets according to the age of your child on your arrival date. If your daughter is still 2 years old on your arrival date, you will not need to purchase a ticket for her.
We look forward to your arrival."

I plan to bring a copy of this letter, a copy of her birth cerfiticate, and something that says when we checked in. That's probably not nessasary but she won't be in a stroller and is very tall so I know I'll be asked how old she is.
