Okay - I know we've discussed this before. I am taking my four nieces and nephews to Disney World and on the Disney Cruise in January (ages 6, 4, 4, 1). I am trying to come up with little surprises to keep it super special - I already have cruise baskets which will be delivered to our room, mickey ears that I may by in advance, matching character t-shirts for all of us - any other good ideas?

Thanks in advance for all of your help!

pillow presents! every morning my kids woke to find a gift left for them from a diff't character... from the princesses were disposable cameras... from mickey/minnie were little plush toys (purchased at the disney store from the sale rack!)... from tigger was a bouncy "water yo yo" (complete w/note that tiggers don't jump, they bounce!)... from lilo and stitch were little tins w/candy... another morning were the matching tee shirts for the four of us... buzz lightyear left them glow necklaces (to wear at fantasmic)... the last day the whole gang left cd/game boy game for the ride home...

it was great fun listening to the kids thank the characters for their gifts and asking how they got into our locked room... the princesses were great and went along with it, speaking highly of that good ol' disney magic!

I am doing the same thing as gigi.
Tinkerbell is going to come while she is asleep and leave a little gift and a note. All of the things I have were bought on sale/clearance. One reason I chose to do this was for the magic of it but another reason is because it will cut down on the gimmies in the gift shops.

oh, it definitely cut down on the gimmies! it was great to be able to say something like "but what if that's what mickey was going to bring you tonight?!" (of course, knowing exactly what "mickey" had in his arsenal! LOL!) and the wonder and excitement each morning was great... it really gave waking up a "kick" and got us motivated much quicker in the morning! LOL!
