Long Beach Aquarium

If you have a car and are looking for something else to do while you are at Disneyland take a drive over to Long Beach.

The aquarium was fascinating. There is a great little seaside village near there also. You could see the Queen Mary across the water. There is a free shuttle that runs between these attractions.

We enjoyed this last June as well. Took a break mid-way through our visit, got our hands stamped and walked across the street and had a nice lunch at Bubba Gump's (OK, something not completely right to eat seafood in the middle of an aquarium visit!!). We really enjoyed the stingray pools -- spent a long time there. The 3D movie was fun. It was a relaxing break in the middle of a week at DL -- we went on a Saturday because we thought DL would be very crowded that day. If you have the time, give it a try. They offer AAA discounts and the Entertainment Card offers a 2 for 1 (we got this by visiting the EC website).

I enjoyed the pools where you could touch the creatures. We ate at a great place in the Shoreline Village.

I love to eat at Bubba Gumps when we travel.
