okay what a disappointement going to DIsney for 3 days!! besides the 2 hours we wasted at Blizzard Beach!!

We LOVE UNIVERALS!! IOA and STUDIOS!!

we had 5 days and we wanted to stay longer!!
overall the rides are better even the 3-d shows and the parks are alot cleaner then Disney. My girls 51/2 and 9 were bored with MK-- AK Dinosaur was the best- my 5 1/2 wasn't allowed to go on primevalwhirl but she could go on the RocknRoll coaster- go figure!!
Epcot- testtrack andmission spcae were good


forget it- Universal is alot better - we will stay at the Hardrock and hey you can't beat the valvet parking!!

I have to agree - at least for older kids & adults. We just got back - spent two days at Disney, two at Universal. Except for Mission Space, Universal just totally outdoes the technology at Disney. Also, this was our first time at Universal, and I was expecting the parks to look more like a Six Flags, or something (not much "theming"). But in some areas - like Jurassic Park and Lost Continent - the theming & atmosphere were great.

My kids (12 & 16) just felt there was so much more "energy" at Universal.

Also, I was disappointed with the number of rides closed at Disney - this "open seasonally" policy is a joke - if they are going to close 25% of their attractions, they should lower the price 25% percent! Universal only had one ride closed in each park while we were there.

At any rate, as much as I love Disney, I think they're in for some stiff competition if they don't upgrade more quickly!
