..............and upset. I've just collected my 14 year old daughter from the local police station. She and a friend were physically attacked by bigger boys from a different school while waiting for a bus after school, they were trying to take her mobile phone.
The thing that upsets me the most is that two adults were at the stop and did nothing to help  I really dont understand it. Why would someone stand there and do nothing when two young girls are being kicked and punched and thrown into oncoming traffic by two large youths!!!
The police, thankfully, have taken it seriously and will be visiting the other school with the girls on Monday to try to identify who they were. I hope they do!!!

There was a thing in the paper the other evening where they had footage of a woman lying in the road injured and cars were actually caught swerving to avoid her and not one stopped to help or see if she was okay! I found that shocking. It just seems that people aren't willing to get 'involved' nowadays which is terrible:(
I'm really sorry to hear about your daughter and friend, they must have had a terrible shock. Hope they both recover soon and yourself of course because I understand as a parent how sick you must be feeling.

Hi Annmarie,
My sympathies to you and your DD and her friend
If I was you I would be livvid too
I am glad to hear the police are taking it seriously as it is exactly the sort of anti-social behaviour that is far too abundant these days and something that as a civilised society we just should not accept.
I hope you are all not affected to deeply by this and can continue to get on with your lives without letting it affect you too much :)
Alan.

Oh my word :(
How awful.
Hope your DD and her friend are ok?:(
It's a shocking world we are living in today, it seems no one has no shame or guilt.
I also seen the picture of the lady in the road in the paper the other day and all the cars swerving by what has happened to helping others?
I'm sorry to hear about this I hope the police get the violent thugs, and they get there punishment.

I'm very proud of my daughter, she jumped on top of them to try to get them away from her friend, she is only a little thing, 5ft tall, but very fiesty:D
She's been to youth club this evening. I seem to be in a worse state than she is.
If they find the boys concerned the police are going to charge them with assault.
Thanks for your messages, they really help
