Oh don't worry! You don't need an ipod! You can either download the MP3 and burn them on CD to take with you, or it's even easier to listen right from your web browser! You can just go to the MouseTunes Radio page at http://www.mousetunes.com/mousetunesradio.php and stream any or all of our shows - no downloads necessary.

Actually, Maxiv, I dont know what the rules are for asking trivia questions on this thread are, but if your well of Disney knowledge is running a little dry, maybe you can ask Disney questions out of a Disney trivia book (unless it's not allowed  )...I rarely ask questions on this thread, but when I do it's from what I remember when I go to Disney, but I did just get a Disney paperback trivia book for xmas and I've been reading it a lot lately! I love it!! :teeth:

There are only a few rules….

You may ask a question after correctly answering a question and being awarded an AAQ (Ask A Question) card.

Questions should be in bold to allow us to follow the game more easily.

Lurking is okay, but it’s a lot more fun to jump in and guess! There is no punishment for wrong answers here!!

Questions should be focused on the four WDW theme parks in order to maintain our place on this board. A continued thank you to the moderators for allowing this game to continue for more than 3 years.

Those are the rules posted from the first page. :)

Animation courtyard at MGM

I agree.
New to the game.....for future reference....does the "poster" of the question need to come back and approve the answer before you move on with your question - or if you know you are correct, can you go ahead and post your question?

Horizons16
01-09-2006, 04:29 PM
In the past when the thread was much more active, we would wait for the poster of the question to confirm the answer.

wdwtheplacetobe
01-09-2006, 04:33 PM
Carol---to answer your question...

The person who ASKED the question MUST award your AAQ BEFORE you post a question!

The FIRST one to get the answer correctly usually receives the AAQ.

It's a FUN game, makes you walk thru WDW in your mind.

Good Luck and Welcome!

Steve (HZ16) you covered the rules pretty well and nice assist, wdwtptb and Spectro.

New to the game.....for future reference....does the "poster" of the question need to come back and approve the answer before you move on with your question - or if you know you are correct, can you go ahead and post your question?

Carol... Because there are so many varied sources of WDW information out there that occasionally conflict we follow the unwritten rule "your question, your answer" so we do wait for the original poster of the question to confirm. (It also helps keep us from the "my source says" arguments.)

Like Spectro, I like to ask questions from my memory of park visits, but after reading other materials about the parks, some of that knowlege is stuck in my head too. ;)

AAQ cards are handed out in case you are not going to be able to follow your question at that time, you may use it later. In that case someone else who has an AAQ card may ask the next question.

Sandy..... I'll guess it is to the left side of the entrance to The Brown Derby at Disney Studios. :wizard:

Could it be 7:22 which would be the date that it first opened (July 22, 1994)?

By the way, DW and I were actually there that day for the Grand Opening. We were one of the first 100 people to ride it. You want to talk about crowds??? We were packed in so tight, we both had trouble breathing and really started to get scared when they let us go. If we hadnt run, we would have been trampled.

Would I do it again? Not on your life. The street was packed side to side, front to back, in mid July heat and humidity, well you get the picture.

Name two other movies that have been promoted in the same spot in MGM that's currently housing stuff from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
