What is the parade route in the Magic Kingdom?

Granny
11-18-2004, 05:29 PM
I think the Share a Dream parade starts in Frontierland in front of Pecos Bill's restaurant, heads up through Liberty Square, around the castle circle and down Main Street to Town Hall?

SLouis.... So you are saying it is still at pretty much the same level for small children?

Gee I thought the addition of stitch might make it a better children's attraction.

MBabe...from what I understand Stitch still has a somewhat similar storyline so they could use similar effects. However, it is now clearly much more child friendly since they know Stitch is not a killing machine. For instance, the moisture that is sprayed represents slobber, not blood like it did in Alien Encounter. I think it sounds like a huge improvement and is probably kid-friendly in a similar manner that Haunted Mansion is.

Okay, I have a stack of AAQ cards that date all the way back to the P&G thread part one!!!

So, in order to move this back to page one, I'm going to cash one in with an easy question:

What was the EPCOT Center pre-opening slogan?

Good luck!

MonorailDude
11-20-2004, 02:00 PM
I can't seem to remember this one sadly.

But I'll bump the thread up with a guess.

World of Tomorrow.

Granny,

Great to be back in the Chalk Circle again.

I think this question has been on here long enough, so I'll give you the answer.

According to the pre-opening poster, license plate and license plate bracket I have, they all say "The 21st Century Begins October 1, 1982".

Time for a new question!

On which rides do you go backwards at some point??

gometros

Yes, they have implemented the same software that DisneyWorldTrivia.com uses.

As for the candy lady ,her name is Miyuki (she even has her own question in my book), and she is the only woman who has even been taught this candy making art in Japan.

She can be found at the entrance to the pavilion on the right hand side, outside the entrance to the store.

Here's my new question with the AAQ Card I just received.

Name the Company that sponsors, or used to sponsor and I didn't know a new one came:rolleyes:, the following attractions or areas.

1. Spaceship Earth

OK, I can do a few....

1. Spaceship Earth---AT & T
2. UoE---used to be EXXON, but they were changing signs last April---so I'm not sure anymore
3. Test Track ---GM
4. The Land ---is it Nestle`????
5. Imagination ---Kodak
6. "official sponsor" ---is it Coke---it's ALL over the place!

Both of you have all the right answers except for the possible official sponsor. If you look at one of the park maps, you can see it in one of the corners of the page. It is on ANY map.::yes::

im guessing this but 4 the official sponser kodak as there are kodak photo shoots places to take their photos also there are other things with kodak theres a shop for kodak in m.g.m studios and there is also a part on the map talking about kodak film and so on and so on so i guess this is it

Something to look for: As your ship enters the nursery you might notice the building blocks stacked on the floor (a group is by Wendy's bed, another by the window as you exit). If you look closely, you'll see that these blocks spell "P Pan" and "DISNEY."

Let's take a guess here.

10 minutes (ride time varies) X 30 (since Pooh&Piglet got it right. ) - 90 (feet) = 210

or there is also a building height for Space Mountain. ::yes::

10 minutes (ride time varies) X 30 (since Pooh&Piglet got it right. ) - 180 (building feet) = 120

What is the "gateway to the galaxy"?

I'll make a guess -- Space Mountain?

Lou, I'm so glad I saw your post. I have your trivia book. We leave in the morning for WDW and probably would have forgotten to bring it. Now I hope I remember to pull it out when I get home from my productive day at work! Thanks for all your work in putting such a fun group of facts together. :earboy2:

marypops!
01-16-2005, 02:00 PM
there are 22 wheels
i know this is the answer as i just checked so heres the next one (if not 22 then 26)
back to the resorts:
which president made what speech at which resort at what year?
you need all the answers
sorry if this is just rushing but who cares

22 is correct, marypops---but the powers that be will want you not to ride the "black monorail"----we have to stay within the 4 parks to stay on this Board....One of the founders can explain it better....

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

marypops!
01-16-2005, 04:21 PM
it is correct
taken from the WDW trivia book:
Although there are only 4 visible wheels on the outside of each of the cars there are a total of 22 wheels on each test trackvehicle. The wheels require a total of six distinct braking systems on board each ride car
so :p

wdwtheplacetobe

22 IS correct!!!!!

The "black monorail" is for your next question.....Higgs, MickeyBabe or Granny can explain the situation better.....

have a magical day!

I'm confused...do the last few posts have to do with just one person, or should they make sense to me too? I don't know what just happened.

Here is the rule from a real oldtimer:

All of the questions and posts on this thread must be directly related to the themeparks, and cannot deal with outside things such as the resorts, DTD, etc. The reason is that this thread is on the "Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies" board. We can stray a little, but they will close the thread if we stray too much.

Here is an old softball for you:

How many stones did it take to build Cinderella's Castle?

Wecome marypops! :D .... it is nice having you joining in the fun of the Parks Game.

:wave2: Hi Dave!!! So wonderful to see you here!

Thanks for clearing up that little question on procedure. ::yes::

marypops!.... Another rule of thumb is "Your Question Your Answer"... Which bascially stated is that over the years we have found not all WDW sources have identical answers. That is why we always allow the original poster to confirm the answer in order to continue. (Unless he or she is AWOL for a few days ;) )

Dave..... I'll guess 1971 stones. ;)

No, M-Babe, that's how many Whiparitas we served at the last meeting of the WDWWDS. :smooth: .

Any other tries?

Here's my guess, there are no stones for Cinderella's castle, it's all fiberglass. OK boo me for being wrong, but I wanted to take a stab.

ladyarcher, you are absolutely correct!!
You have the next question.

:jumping4: :Pinkbounc :jumping4: You're kidding me! I thought for sure there was a "real" answer out there.

Hope this hasn't been asked recently.

When you leave the Haunted Mansion, you are asked to not to forget something, what is it?
