The popularity of Disneyland made so many other hotels and such pop up that he wanted lots of land to build a "world" were the magic would stay. It wouldn't have all the congestion that Disneyland had. He chose FL because of its year-round good weather.

There are 22 tires on each car.

I found this out from a CM one time. The ride had shut down and we were waiting for it to restart. The CM told me that the backup braking system on one of the cars had failed and they had to take off half of the tires to work on it.

I'm going to say..... average ride length 5 minutes divided by 60 = 12laps/hour x 10 average hours ride open= 120 miles

outlander came pretty close. Each car travels on average 137 miles per day. I actually thought that was kinda low. For some reason, I figured they would end up going much further.
