ok what do we do once we leave the Delta terminal?
Where do I find the car pickup (not renting car, someone picking us up) from Delta?

I would recommend the south exit to 417 rather than the Beeline. Delta is on B side, which is the south side of the airport. You can be picked up on level 2 outside baggage claim (they will not be permitted to stop and wait). Then follow the signs to the south exit, follow the exit road and take the exit for 417 south. Pass through 2 tollbooths ($1 each), get off at exit 6. Keep going straight, it will take you right under the WDW arch near Downtown Disney. Or stay on until exit 3 (additional .25 or .50 toll) for the animal kingdom/all stars area.

We also use the south exit to 417. Too much traffic and too many backups using the Bee Line and I-4.

For those that like matching highway numbers with their names ...

FL-417 - the Greenway
FL-528 - the Beeline
FL-408 - East-West Expressway
I-96 - the Lodge

(one of these is not like the others ;))

I agree. Take the 417! It is a much better way to get to WDW.

If I'm reading your question correctly, you want to know where your friend's car will be to pick you up? Go to the MCO website. There is probably a map of the facility, with the various pick up areas noted. The taxi lanes and car pick up areas are usually near luggage claim. Many airports(not sure about MCO) have a single baggage claim area regardless of the number of airlines that fly into the facility.

I'm arriving at 6:40 PM on Thanksgiving Day. Do you think either will be more busy than the other? Last year on Turkey Day the airport was pretty dead. I heard the day before was a nightmare!

:moped:....outta' my way...I'm headed to Disney!!

417 is never crowded. There is an A and B side for arrivals and departures.

>>> directions via Beeline

Go out airport north exit (to Semoran). At first traffic light take left (Frontage, becomes McCoy). Curve to left, go a little over a mile to end. Two quick lefts at lights (don't cross under) gets you onto Beeline. Then take I-4 west (southwest). Disney exits will come into view after about 5 miles.

Returning to airport via I-4 east (tricky ramps leaving Disney), then take 528 exit for Beeline, get off Beeline at exit 9 (Tradeport), cross under Beeline, get into middle lane, (fill up rental car at gas station there), then right at second of two closely spaced lights onto McCoy. Go to end (Semoran), right to enter airport or left to return Hertz and Thrifty cars.

75 cent toll each way.

"Many entrance doors look alike. Be sure to agree on exactly where along the airport terminal you will pick up your party."
