HRH reservation question

Hi everyone,
This is kinda of strange but maybe this happens to everyone. We booked 5 days at HRH for Sept. 9-13 more than a month ago, gettting the $117.50 a night Entertainment rate. I asked for a fax back confirmation, which was no problem. I gave my credit information expecting to be charged with a deposit of one night's stay, but so far, this hasn't happened. Do they just "hold" your credit information and then charge it when you arrive or what? Has this happened to anyone? I'm thinking of calling back and paying for the trip in full before we arrive. Any suggestions?

Hi Maureen,

This just happened to us. We booked by 'phone, 6 June, but no confirmation and our credit card hadn't been debited.

Dh e-mailed them and they replied saying that 'Dave in Accounts was responsible for that, but he hadn't charged our card'!!!!! Anyway, they confirmed our reservation with all the correct details (king bed, non-smoking, etc); so I wouldn't worry - just e-mail them to be sure.

I made my reservation for August this past May...and I talked to them on Tuesday....I did find out that they will be charging my credit card for one night on July 31st.

Maybe you're just not sceduled to be charged yet. Call them and find out if they know when the scheduled charge will happen.
