How and when do we register for the princess breakfast in the castle? We have never done this before and are clueless on how it works. Anyone know hte cost?

The Princess breakfasts are VERY HARD to get in to. There's the one at the Castle at MK and one in Epcot, Storybook Princess Breakfast. I've heard the one in Epcot is a little easier to book...although it took my travel agent two days to get me in. Cost for both is $19.99 for adults and $9.99 (I think) for children.

You need to count back 90 days from the day you want to attend and call Disney at exactly 7 am (Florida time). Don't be too picky about which day you want. You can make several reservations (if you're lucky!) and then can choose the right day for you. Your seating will be held with a credit card so you must cancel at least 24 hours before or you will be charged $10 per adult and $5 per child.

It is now 90 days. There's a great "how to" page that is stuck toward the top of the Restaurant board. They have some good tips on CRT that should also help for PSB.

Another option is Cinderella's Gala Feast. While she is the only princess, this is a dinner and doesn't seem to be as in demand as others. DD and I did this one as well as PSB and, other than not seeing as many princesses, I preferred the dinner. It felt more relaxed yet elegant - if that makes any sense. Also, the food was so much better and we didn't feel jammed into a corner as we were for PSB.

Slightly OT - I have to say I was a bit irritated by the less than ideal locations of the tables for 2 in many of the restaurants. We seemed to either be in a corner (Chef Mickey's and PSB) or right next to the door leading to the kitchen (O'Hana and 1900 Park Fare). For all of these we had PSs so it's not like we were walk ups and were just happy to get a table.

A note on Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast: when you make your PS, your credit card is billed right then for the deposit, $10/adult, $5/child.

I too would try at the 90 day mark but you just never know.. I was there a few weeks ago and took a chance and called reservations to reserve CP for the next day and asked about the castle. someone had just cancelled and I got a reservation. I didnt end up taking it though since dd had her heart set on 1900 park fare with cinderella.
