What pins are considered "acceptable" or trade-worthy at the parks? I have seen the following stamped on the back of pins in ebay auctions: "Pin Trading" ; "Disney Auctions" ; "Disney; Made in China" ; and "Tokyo Disneyland". I have also seen people mention in ebay auctions warnings about pins from (or made by) Spain/Sedesema.

Anyone know what pins are acceptable for trading in the parks???

BUMP :sad1:

Surely someone knows something about pin trading in the parks.

I read Disney's take on trading, but still am unclear as to what pins are acceptable to trade.

HELP!!!!!!!!

The rule of thumb is if it has a Disney copyright on the back and not on the CMs lanyard, then it is tradeable.

However, some CMs don't stick to the rules. Some will trade even if they already have one on the lanyard, especially if it's a kid.

I traded a pin off of a CM's lanyard and when I tried to trade it to another CM, I found out it was a Sedesema and not tradeable.
And then traded it later with another CM.

Bottom line, go with my first sentence, but it's not a hard and fast rule.
