Am I missing something? I just compared prices for 5 day Hoppers and Hopper Plus tickets and the advance sale price directly from Disney was the same, or cheaper than AAA or Ticket Mania's subscriber only prices? Is it actually possible Disney represents the best bargain???

Just actually added a ticket to my shopping card and saw tax suddenly appear. Is tax included in the price shown of the other passes? What about shipping? If Disney adds tax and shipping, they would be substantially more expensive than I first thought.

Yep. That's what makes the other better. I don't know about Ticketmania....but AAA NC tax is included and shipping is $10 per ORDER.
You might want to check them out. Free shipping the last time I looked and quite a bit of savings over advance purchase prices.

Okay, just joined Hotwire and they do have good prices on Hopper Plus tickets, but I really only need Hoppers, without the plusses. We have leftover pluses from our last tickets. Hummm...I'd better look at ticketmania again to compare with the shipping/tax issue.

Ticketmania: more on the hopper plus, and the regular hopper isn't available for shipping, only in store pickup, which i'm not interested in. So, Hotwire, here I come.:D

Two questions for those who know:
When's the best time to open and close a hotwire account? I know there's a way to open the account, make your order, get your store card money back (the $5 per store gift card purchased), and close it without having to pay a monthly fee. Is it in the beginning of the month?
How long does it take to get passes once you order them?
thanks-
Sorcha

Can't comment on best closing time but do know that my Hotwire orders have always arrived within 5 days of ordering. I think this is a great club. I joined last year during the holidays, cancelled and just rejoined for tickets and meal vouchers for an upcoming WDW trip and to start making gift card purchases for the holidays again.

It doesn't go on a schedule by calendar date, but by the date you join, then add 30 days. I joined today and got an extra $10 cash back. There was a box on the left of the screen to click. I ordered my park hoppers and 2 meal vouchers.
