AAA Parking Pass
As posted on the Community Board & the theme parks board.... Does anyone know if AAA still offers the special parking pass for its members at WDW. It used to be called diamond parking or something like that but I can't seem to find anything about it on their site. I think I remember hearing that it might have been discontinued but I figured I would check into it before I leave in two weeks. Thanks

I did a search on the site about AAA and I have found out that the AAA diamond parking is still in affect. However, do you have to book your vacation or purchase tickets through AAA to receive this benefit? (I have done neither!)

After searching some more, I have found out that you do need to purchase tickets or book a vacation to get the pass. However, in numerous posts I see Dis'ers lending their 2004 pass. Anyone out there done with theirs and would like to share?

Diamond parking is a designated lot, not a discount coupon. IMHO it is not a big deal, you still have to walk a ways to the park, at least at one park it is close enought so you don't need the tram.

We did a package thru AAA and got one. Used it at Animal Kingdom and Epcot. Parking is up front at AK.

Left the pass in my pocket and it went thru the wash.....could really use it in November.
