My DD is a Junior Girl Scout. I was wondering if anyone had ideas of what badges could be earned by utilizing the attractions at WDW. We will be attending all 4 parks.
I think any for the ocean or aquariums could be earned. Can you help me?
THANKS
I remembered reading a thread about this

Hope this helps

I'm a Junior GS leader and when I saw this topic I went to my DD with the idea and she was turned off. DD doesn't think earning badges at WDW is as rewarding if she earns it without her GS sisters. I'm out of luck! Thought I could at least get her to do the one Math Wiz at least...I was wrong :p .
It's a very good idea though and if I can ever get my entire troop out there we would definitely take advantage and earn some badges.

I had a girl scout and 2 boy scouts so we planned a trip for the packs/troop together to WDW. They were very helpful in planning the trip and they only had 2 scheduled activities to earn badges. The rest of the time was ours to do with as we pleased. It was a great price and we even had vouchers included so the kids didn't have to worry about at least one meal per day. I recommend having some fund raisers and take the troop as a group sometime. We booked a year in advance.

The title of this thread caught my attention because my BF just asked me to co-leader a JR GS troop with her. Does anyone know where I can find good information online about this? I checked the official GS website but it seems to mostly be general information that points you to a local council. I'll definitely be working with our council but wanted to start gathering information and ideas now so I can take a really active part in the planning with my friend.
Thanks

Find out what Council you are going to volunteer for, give them a call and they will be able to help you in any way possible. I know that my Council gives free education courses and guidance in regard to leadership skills. I also have a lot of general/unofficial websites that relate to Girl Scouts. With these you'll begin to get your ideas on how to keep your girls interested. I also participate in a Girl Scouting forum. If you need more info...PM me. :)
