Newbie...totally addicted to this already!

Just wanted to say hi because I am new around here and totally ADDICTED to this site & all of the info & tips out there. I consider myself a Disney Vet (10 trips & the next scheduled for 12/26/04) & yet, I have learned soooooo much :) So THANK YOU!

This site is def. going to be trouble....more for my husband b/c he is going to have to pry me away from the computer! LOL

Don't even mention expensive....At first I was happy to go for a day or two....stay at the all-star and eat whatever....now I'm planning an 8 day CR gold plan vacation and I'm sorry that I can't afford to do Platinum and maybe concierge for at least two weeks!!!! Oh well....we can dream.

I have been reading these DISBoards since June 2004 and have just officially joined !!!!!I'm addicted too.....learning so so much and I've been to DISNEY 5 times already and planning our next trip for summer2005...I'll be an expert planner by then!!!:earsgirl: ::MinnieMo

Gotta LOVE it! I too have a trip already planned for this Dec...was just there in May 2004 & now on a kick to plan for Oct 2005!! ADDICTING & YES....getting EXPENSIVE! LOL

Welcome Meg&Minnie!! You will LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE!!! My husband just shakes his head now & just asks if I am talking to all my new Disney friends. Then he Lovingly calls me a FREAK & laughs!! But he isn't too far behind:crazy:

I lurked for a couple of months reading, reading, reading before I joined. I've found so much great info & I also found out it's NOT weird to be an adult who loves WDW so much...WOO HOO! You see, my "baby" is now 31 years old so I no longer have a little one to take to Disney. Many friends don't understand why I still love to go there if it's not to take my child. Thank goodness, here I don't have to try to explain why it's still a magical place to me. It feels good to be among adults who actually understand, share my feelings, & don't think I'm strange for loving a "kids place" so much. I feel like the ugly duckling in that old fairy tale who was finally accepted...LOL! :crazy: I only wish I'd found the DIS boards much sooner!
