Well we ordered the dresses last September (I know, early) and I couldn't even zip the thing 1/2 way up when I bought it. Now it zips no problem (yay) but doesn't look very flattering. I still have a month to go so if I stay with the exercise and stict points I hope to lose more.

My question is, and it may sound kind of funny, is are they any "Miracle" type undergarments out there that will help smooth out the, oh shall we call them, imperfections ;) ? I didn't know if there is a particular brand that might work better than others.

Thanks!

I work at a bridal salon and indeed there is a great product. I'll get the full name for you tomorrow when I go to work and post it then. By the way have you started alterations. If not you should. Make sure you have your shoes. They can at least start the hem.

cinmell: I checked in work today and the slip goes from under the bust line and falls to the ground. It is put out by a company called Merry Modes. It is called "The Amore Conform Slip." It's very goood at holding everything in. I think it comes in black, but we carry it in nude. It's pricy, about $65.00.

Hope it helps. Do you have a Kohl's around you? They have some great slips over there. Ask the bridal shop where you got your dress if they deal with Merry Modes. If not I can always get you one and ship it to you. You can PM me.

Good Luck,
Michelle

Thank you so much Michelle! We actually ordered the dresses from Spiegel but I wish they were from a bridal shop. I will go to Kohl's tomorrow of Friday or maybe I'll just go to a bridal shop around here and see if they carry the slip. Thank you again for taking the time to look into this for me, I really appreciate it! Have a good night and I'll let you know if I have any luck.

Thanks!

Good Afternoon: I double checked with the company and the slip will or should run you no more that $49. The owner of the shop wasn't sure of the price so I called today. I looked at it again and there is a slit, like a kick pleat, and it comes to your calf. Hope you do well at Kohl's.

Excellent info! I am going to a black tie wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Oct 23 and although my dress is flattering (black, floor legnth, empire waist.) I could really use a bulge smoother for underneath! I am going to check into these! Thanks!
